So I was walking out of my last period class and I see that my friend Serene is walking in front of me. I see that she hasn’t noticed me so as a joke I try to freak her out by laying my hand on her shoulder and when she turns around it isn’t my friend but instead a complete stranger. She stared at me. And said nothing.

I’m going to cry myself to sleep tonight because of how traumatically awkward that was.
